About the Course
The introduction of the COVID-19 vaccine brings about various legal and practical considerations for employers and employees. This webinar will explore, amongst others, mandatory vaccination policies, and the balance between an individual choice to be vaccinated and an employer’s duty to ensure adequate workplace health and safety. This session will aid both employers and employees in navigating the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination.

In order to complete this module successfully, ensure that you watch at least 75% of the video in a single session and achieve a minimum score of 100% on the quiz. Upon successful completion of the module, you will receive 1 CPD point.

About the Presenter

Ms. Wong Keat Ching
Wong Keat Ching is a partner in the employment and industrial relations and litigation practice group of Zul Rafique & Partners. She holds both a Bachelor of Arts in Law (Hons) degree from the University of Nottingham and the Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP). She was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 1998.
As an active litigator, Keat Ching has appeared at all levels of the Malaysian Courts, from the Industrial Court to the Federal Court. She has handled numerous Industrial Court cases involving sexual harassment, poor performance, serious misconduct, and fixed term contracts. Keat Ching regularly advises on employment corporate issues such as restructuring, voluntary separation scheme (VSS), and labour due diligence.
On an international scale, Keat Ching has served a short stint in the Melbourne law firm, Maddocks in 2004, and was also selected by the China Law Society in 2013 to attend the 7th China ASEAN Legal Training Course at Chongqing. Keat Ching is an active trainer for the Bar Council Advocacy Training Course and a regular speaker at conferences - notably at the 27th LAWASIA Conference in Bangkok in 2014 and the 2019 LAWASIA Employment Law Forum in Fiji.
The mother of two is an avid netball player for the Malaysian Bar, but she has diverted to yoga since the COVID-19 pandemic.
