This session will discuss, among others, reference to a matrimonial tribunal or conciliatory body, joint petition for divorce, contested/single petition for divorce, petition for divorce under section 51 of the Law Reform (Marriage and Divorce) Act 1976, judicial separation petition, decree nisi, and more.The session is specifically geared to benefit Members admitted to the Malaysian Bar from 1 July 2011, and pupils in chambers who commence their pupillage from 1 July 2016 onwards.
In order to complete this module successfully, ensure that you watch at least 75% of the video in a single session and achieve a minimum score of 100% on the quiz. She is a partner of Yeoh & Joanne, and mainly handles litigation matters concerning family disputes. She garnered experience from highly contentious matrimonial proceedings involving cross-border divorces, custody of children, interfaith conversions, and division of matrimonial assets.
